English Literature Department Participate in the 6th ESAI Congress 2024 in Samarinda
Samarinda, 29 October 2024 - English Literature Departement UKRI, represented by the Chair of the Study Program, Dr. Sri Handayani, M.Pd., took part in the 6th ESAI (English Studies Association of Indonesia) 2024 Congress which took place at the Aston Hotel Samarinda, from 29 October to 1 November 2024.
Participation in this congress is not only aimed at updating the latest information regarding English literature, but also as a medium for building networks with academics and practitioners in the same field. Dr. Sri Handayani stated, "This congress is a valuable opportunity for us to discuss and share knowledge about the latest developments in English literary studies."
Apart from that, the presence of the UKRI English Literature Study Program at the national level also functions to promote the study program to congress participants. By establishing good relations with other institutions, it is hoped that it can strengthen the position of the UKRI English Literature Study Program in the national academic community.
It is hoped that the 2024 ESAI Congress can become a platform for a wider exchange of ideas and collaboration, so as to improve the quality of education and research in the field of English literature in Indonesia.
