Rector of UKRI Inaugurates 886 New Students of the 2024 class year
Inauguration of New Students of the Universitas Kebangsaan Republik Indonesia (UKRI) for the 2024/2025 Academic Year, Thursday, 5/9/2024, at the Prof. Soemitro Djojohadikusumo Hall, UKRI Campus.
A total of 886 new students of the 2024 class year were symbolically inaugurated by the Rector of UKRI, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, S.H., M.H.
In his speech, the Rector congratulated the UKRI 2024 students on their success in overcoming extraordinary challenges to secure the opportunity to study at UKRI, the campus for future leaders.
"You are the chosen students among many applicants who aspire to continue their education at the Universitas Kebangsaan Republik Indonesia," he stated.
He also urged the new UKRI students to prepare themselves to face global demands and challenges. One way to do this is by taking advantage of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka program.
"Strengthen your intentions, solidify your resolve, and take steps to move forward with us. Eliminate laziness, low self-esteem, and indulgence. Be resilient, smart, creative, innovative, and possess a strong and noble character," he explained.
"As part of our commitment to preparing students for global demands and challenges, we continuously improve the quality of our faculty, strengthen collaborations with various institutions, and enhance facilities that support the learning process," he added.
"Once again, welcome to the new UKRI students of the 2024 cohort to our beloved campus. Let us all contribute our best to the nation, as mandated by the Chairman of the Republic of Indonesia National Education Foundation, H. Prabowo Subianto: learn to serve, acquire knowledge for the nation," he concluded."
