The Rector of UKRI laid the foundation stone for the construction of the campus at (Former Kanira Hotel) Jl. Pelajar Pejuang 45 No.10 Bandung

Rector of UKRI, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, S.H., M.H., conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Universitas Kebangsaan Republik Indonesia campus on Thursday, 5/9/2024, at the UKRI Campus area (Former Kanira Hotel) Jl. Pelajar Pejuang 45 No. 10 Bandung.

Rector of UKRI, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, S.H., M.H., laid the foundation stone (Ground Breaking) for the construction of the Universitas Kebangsaan Republik Indonesia campus on Thursday, 5/9/2024, in the UKRI Campus area (Former Kanira Hotel) Jl. Pelajar Pejuang 45 No. 10 Bandung.

During the event, the Rector was accompanied by the vice rectors, special staff to the rector, the UKRI Development Acceleration Team, and attended by the academic community of UKRI.

In his speech, the Rector expressed that this construction is the initial step in the significant efforts of the Republic of Indonesia National Education Foundation to improve the quality of higher education services at UKRI. The campus construction is not just about physical infrastructure, but also symbolizes our commitment to creating an academic environment that supports the development of knowledge, innovation, and national character.

“With the construction of this new campus, we hope to provide the best facilities for the entire academic community to carry out educational, research, and community service activities. Superior infrastructure is one of the key factors that will support the creation of a conducive and productive learning atmosphere,” he stated.

“I extend my deepest gratitude to the Republic of Indonesia National Education Foundation for their full support and outstanding dedication in realizing this campus development. The hard work and collaboration of various parties, both internal and external, are the important pillars that have brought us to this stage,” he explained.

He also hoped for support from all parties, including the government, society, and alumni, to continue contributing to the development of Universitas Kebangsaan Republik Indonesia. Let us make this campus a shared home, a place where we serve and innovate for the advancement of the nation and the country.

“With the recitation of Bismillahirrohmanirrohim, may the construction of this campus proceed smoothly as planned, bringing blessings and great benefits to us all. Aamiin yarobal alamin,” he concluded.
