Knowing UKRI

Universitas Kebangsaan Republik Indonesia (UKRI) is a university built on a strong sense of national identity and a commitment to developing people who are knowledgeable, capable, and ready to make a positive difference in society and Indonesia.

Our story began in 1985 with the establishment of Institut Teknologi Adityawarman (ITA). In 2002, it grew into Universitas Kebangsaan, and in 2021, it continued its journey as Universitas Kebangsaan Republik Indonesia. More than four decades of growth and change have shaped the foundation we carry today.

As the world continues to change, we believe education should do more than simply deliver knowledge. It should help students think critically, explore new ideas, discover their potential, and turn what they learn into something meaningful.

At UKRI, education goes hand in hand with research, community engagement, innovation, and student development. We bring together knowledge and practical skills with integrity, responsibility, creativity, and a strong sense of purpose to help our students prepare for what comes next.

Today, UKRI continues to grow as part of Indonesia's educational journey. With a spirit of learning, innovation, and service, we create opportunities for every student to discover their strengths, shape their future, and make a difference in the world around them. -Education for progress. A spirit of nationhood for the future.
