A Symbol of Our Identity

Based on the 2021 statutes of the National University of the Republic of Indonesia (UKRI), it stipulates symbol UKRI is an identity that is attached to every academic community within it. Coat of arm UKRI has a deep meaning that defines noble and noble ideals.
Meaning of the UKRI Emblem:

1. Green Circle: The green circle inscribed with "UNIVERSITAS KEBANGSAAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA" symbolizes UKRI as an institution of higher learning in Indonesia with the noble aim of elevating the dignity of the nation by educating its people for a better life.
2. Garuda Bird: Represents a figure with strong foundations in divinity, upholding humanitarian values and fostering unity, where every decision is made through deliberation for social justice.
3. Book: Symbolizes UKRI as a source of knowledge and learning.
4. Keris and Bambu Runcing: Represents nationalism, symbolizing a love for the homeland and nation, manifesting in noble national values and the spirit of struggle to defend the country.
5. Unwicked Lamp: Signifies that Universitas Kebangsaan Republik Indonesia aligns with the will of the Almighty God, with a bright and independent spirit.
6. Circle with Four Red and White Sections: Represents the four cardinal directions, indicating that UKRI serves as a unifying force for the nation in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

Color Meanings:

• Yellow: Represents youth or hope.
• White: Symbolizes purity and sincerity.
• Green: Signifies fertility or comfort.
• Red: Represents courage or spirit.
